realllly great work, i can sense a ton of creativity in this piece. looking forward to the rest of the stuff you put out in this competition ( :
haha! If I make it that far :/
amazing stuff
honestly? for audacity, this isn't bad. from what little i know of the program, it's extremely clunky to use, and almost impossible to make anything in to begin with.
i think if you took the time to learn a new DAW, you could become a great artist! if money's an issue, there are some quality DAWs out there that are entirely free (think LMMS and Cakewalk are two of the most common). otherwise, i would recommend FL Studio for beginners, it's relatively easy to pick up.
keep at it :^)
did u discover fruity squeeze or is that an entirely different bitcrusher at the beginning
it's actually effector's lofi setting ;)
this story is so much cooler than what i thought it was when i first heard it haha
amazing work! i love the little boinks and squeaks you added at the first orchestral part :^)
I literally could not have done it without you billboard man
I actually thought your interpretation of the story was cleverer than mine haha (although there is a personal allegory for my recent experiences as a musician built into the track that you would have no reason to pick up on)
gotta say, this is probably my favorite song of yours now.
the entire thing manages to ooze creativity through unique sound design and compositional choices while still maintaining your trademark style. i absolutely LOVE the way you introduce certain instruments or even entire sections by chopping them up (1:29, 1:42, 3:29, etc.), giving them even more impact. i also really enjoy the warbly synth that comes in at 1:46, which (correct me if i'm wrong) might be the same synth you hear in the background at 0:54 but modified? and don't even get me started on 2:34, in all of its glorious glitchiness & really-cool-lead-ness.
there's a minor thing i noticed at 3:21 where you can hear a bit of popping during the attack of the synth that progressively gets faster, but other than that amazing work!!
me: "welp the B and C sections aren't vastly different so i gotta get crazy to make the transitions still interesting"
"i guess since my cpu is dying might as well play with some renders"
thanks for dropping by star! yeah i really like this track too one of the rare times that happens
the warbly synth is just the same synth from the first drop except with the 'warble' option turned on :PPPPP lol
popping at 3:21 huh gotta listen to that when my headphones work
very lovely track! :)
Thank you very much!!!! :D
